E.D.S.Douglas was one of Englands finest sporting painters.

He painted racing, point to point, coaching and fox hunting scenes from the latter part of the 29th century, through the early Edwardian period.
His work is always full of detail and excellent draftsmanship.

This set of four paintings is extremely rare and all are in perfect condition.

They have been reframed in Victorian style sporting frames.

Artist - Edward A.S. Douglas

Edward Algernon Stuart Douglas, referred to as E.A.S. Douglas, was born in 1850. He lived and worked in Barnes, England, near London. Douglas was a painter and printer of mainly hunting scenes, and exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1880 and 1892.
