19th century English landscape with man waiting for a plough team

REF: 2427

John White was a Cornish painter from the 19th century.

He exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and also at the British Institute, in London.

His work is Victorian in its compositions, with his paintings telling a story about rural life as people go about their jobs and daily chores.

This piece is a wonderful example of the artist's work. It's full of color, great brush strokes, and thick impasto, all giving the painting a quality feel.

The piece is in great condition and has been recently cleaned and reframed in a new handmade English gold leaf frame.
