English early 20th century landscape with fox hunters, hounds on horse back

Arthur Willett British 1868 -1951. Willett was a renowned landscape artist who settled in Brighton but his paintings of the British countryside and country pursuits are highly sought after. He exhibited at least 7 times at The Royal Academy.


This is a very nice late 19th-century English huntsman on horseback with their hounds out fox hunting.


Willett often painted in watercolor but this is a rare oil on canvas.


The piece is framed in an English gold swept frame.
