H.East was a painter in oils of landscapes and rural scenes, who was active at the turn of the 19th to 20th century.
He did not exhibit his work in the normal exhibition galleries but his paintings were in high demand.
The subjects of his paintings included rural landscapes in North Wales, such as 'On the Llugwy'
and sone rural landscapes such as ' Near Gomshall and 'Driving the Sheep'
The style of the work is similar to the paintings of Daniel Sherrin.
