Well painted and very interesting oil on canvas depicting a Race Horse, the Jockey, and the owner on a Race track, possibly Epsom in Surrey.


Harry Hall was a very well-respected animal, horse, and sporting painter from the middle of the 19th century. he painted many scenes just like this example and was regarded as the successor to J.F.Herring Snr after he gave up painting the classic horse race winners.


This example is framed in an English oak vintage frame.
