Nicole Guieu is a French painter of flowers, landscapes and marine scenes.
Mostly painting in oils the artist was very effective in their use of think impasto paint, with contrasting colors which often produced effective striking paintings.
This piece came from a private French collection and is a wonderful example of the artists work.
It has been framed in a contempury white frame which sets off the dramatic colors of the painting.
