Charles Rene-His was a very gifted French 20th century landscape painter. His work was always most meticulous in detail and this produced a fine finished painting.
His use of light and dark gives his paintings a depth that many artists struggle with and this example shows that skill to its full.
The painting is in excellent condition and is signed and inscribed on the reverse.
